How Long Do Refunds Take to Process?

Refunds are typically processed after the returned item is received and inspected, with timing depending on approval, payment method, and bank processing.

Refund processing times vary based on the type of return, inspection results, and the original payment method. Refunds are not issued immediately when a return is shipped and must first be received, inspected, and approved.

When Refund Processing Begins

Refund processing begins only after all of the following occur:

  • The returned product is received by Crystal Quest

  • The item is inspected for eligibility

  • The return is approved under the Crystal Quest Return Policy

Returns that do not meet eligibility requirements may be denied or approved with applicable fees or deductions.

Typical Refund Timeline

While timelines may vary, refunds generally follow this process:

  1. Return received and inspected
Inspection timing depends on the product type and condition.

  2. Refund approval
Approved refunds are processed after inspection is complete.

  3. Refund issued to original payment method
Posting time depends on your bank or payment provider.

In most cases:

  • Refunds are processed within several business days after approval

  • Banks and card issuers may take additional business days to post the refund

Payment Method Matters

Refund timing may vary depending on how the order was paid:

  • Credit or debit cards:
Posting time depends on the issuing bank.

  • Third-party payment providers:
Processing timelines are determined by the provider’s policies.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method or as store credit.

Fees and Deductions

Approved refunds may be subject to:

  • Restocking fees (when applicable)

  • Non-refundable shipping and handling charges

  • Credit card processing fee deductions, where applicable

  • Return shipping costs

The final refund amount is calculated after inspection and approval.

What Can Delay a Refund

Refunds may take longer if:

  • The product requires additional inspection

  • Parts are missing or packaging is incomplete

  • The return does not meet eligibility requirements

  • Carrier delays affect return delivery

Crystal Quest will contact you if additional review or information is needed.

How You’ll Be Notified

Once a refund is processed:

  • A confirmation notification may be sent

  • The refund will appear on your statement once your bank or provider completes processing

If you do not see the refund immediately, please allow additional time for your financial institution to post it.

Quick Summary

  • Refunds begin after receipt, inspection, and approval

  • Processing time depends on eligibility and payment method

  • Banks may take additional time to post refunds

  • Shipping fees and certain charges are non-refundable
