What Is Covered Under the Crystal Quest Warranty?

Crystal Quest products are covered by a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.

Crystal Quest provides a One-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty on most Crystal Quest water filtration systems. This warranty is intended to cover manufacturing defects only and does not apply to installation errors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase.


What the Warranty Covers

Under the One-Year Limited Warranty, Crystal Quest covers:

  • Defects in materials

  • Defects in workmanship

  • Issues that arise under normal, intended use

  • Products that are properly installed and operated according to provided instructions

If a covered defect is confirmed during the warranty period, Crystal Quest may, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product or component.


Warranty Duration

  • One (1) year from the date of purchase

  • Applies to most Crystal Quest water filtration systems

  • Excludes consumable components, including filter cartridges and UV bulbs


Professional Installation Requirement

Many Crystal Quest systems are designed for professional installation.

Warranty coverage may be denied if:

  • The system was not installed by a qualified, licensed professional

  • The product was improperly installed

  • Damage occurred due to installation error

This requirement is especially important for:

  • Under-sink systems

  • Reverse osmosis (RO) systems

  • Water softeners

  • Backwashing filters

  • Whole house systems


What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Filter cartridges, membranes, or UV bulbs

  • Improper or unlicensed installation

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or modification

  • Damage from freezing, sunlight (UV exposure), or overpressure

  • Damage caused by water conditions outside system specifications

  • Plumbing labor, installation, or service fees

  • Property damage, water damage, or personal injury

  • Lost business, downtime, or consequential damages


Shipping and Service Costs

If warranty service is required:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs to Crystal Quest

  • Crystal Quest covers the repair or replacement of the defective product or part

  • Return shipping arrangements may vary depending on the situation


Maximum Warranty Liability

Under all circumstances:

  • Crystal Quest’s maximum liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product or component

  • Liability will never exceed the original purchase price

  • Warranty coverage ends upon expiration of the warranty period


How to Request Warranty Service

To request warranty service:

  1. Contact Crystal Quest Technical Support

  2. Provide proof of purchase and product details

  3. Describe the issue and provide photos if requested

  4. Follow the warranty service instructions provided

All warranty claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
